We already know that tattoos have been around for thousands of years and in different cultures around the world. However, in today’s society tattoos have become a much more popular phenomenon than ever before (although there are still closed-minded people who haven’t fully accepted them).

Maybe it’s because of ignorance, so it never hurts to learn something. Here are some fun facts about tattoos, tips and statistics that you may already know, but it’s good to group together.

  1. 36% of people between 18 and 29 have at least one tattoo (it is estimated that 1 in 8 people in the world have at least one tattoo, but the figure is increasing).
  2. There are at least 100 colors of tattoo ink, so don’t limit yourself to the typical ones.
